What is Tata InnoVerse Makerthon?

The Tata InnoVerse Makerthon 2024 is a hackathon organized by Tata Sons Private Limited. It’s a digital and physical event open to full-time engineering students from Mechanical, Mechatronics, Design, Industrial Engineering, and Automobile disciplines across colleges in Maharashtra.

Eligibility of Tata InnoVerse Makerthon

* Open to: Full-time engineering students in Maharashtra.
* Teams: Individual or teams of up to 5 students from the same institute.
* No Entry Fee:

Team Registration for Tata InnoVerse Makerthon

* Team Formation: Teams cannot be changed once formed.
* Solution Submission: Teams can submit only one solution per challenge, and it cannot be changed after submission.
* Team Composition: Team members cannot be changed once the solution is submitted.
* Identification: Participants must provide a valid college photo ID and other identity proof.

Guidelines for Tata InnoVerse Makerthon

* Organizers’ Rights: The organizers reserve the right to modify event details, rules, and accept/reject applications.
* Shortlisting: Shortlisted teams will be contacted via email.
* Photography/Videography: Participants consent to be photographed/videographed for organizers’ use.
* Final Decision: The organizers’ decisions are final and binding.
* Travel and Stay: Shortlisted finalists are responsible for their travel and accommodation.
* Communication: Participants agree to receive communication regarding the Makerthon and other Tata InnoVerse initiatives.
* Originality: Participants are responsible for submitting original ideas and solutions that do not infringe on copyright or IPR.
* Prize Liability: The organizers are not liable for any issues arising from the use of the prize by the winners.

Selection Criteria of Tata InnoVerse Makerthon

Phase 1: Online Submission of Solutions

* Judging Criteria:
* Rich Technical Content: Well-articulated and detailed descriptions of the theoretical solution.
* Simplicity of the Solution: Easy to understand and implement.
* Ease of Implementation: Feasible and requiring minimal effort.
* Cost Effectiveness: Affordable solution.
* Novelty/Uniqueness: Creative and original solutions.

Phase 2: Prototype/Solution Demonstration

* Judging Criteria:
* Novelty/Uniqueness: Innovative and unique solution.
* Working Prototype Demonstration: Effective demonstration of the solution.
* Scalability: Potential for growth and expansion.

Note: No appeals are allowed against jury decisions.

Prizes of Tata InnoVerse Makerthon

* Most Innovative Prototype/Solution:
* Winner: Croma voucher up to Rs. 1,00,000.
* Runner-up: Croma voucher up to Rs. 50,000.
* Jury Special Award: Croma voucher up to Rs. 10,000.

* Prize Distribution: Based on the quality of entries and at the discretion of the judges and organizers.
* Finality: Prizes awarded are final and cannot be exchanged or substituted.
