The Flood Aware Be Prepared Quiz 2024 is organised by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens. Questions contained within the quiz will be based on various aspects of floods, including causes, impacts, and safety measures. The last date to participate in the contest is 15th October 2024.
India faces significant challenges due to floods, impacting lives, livelihoods, and infrastructure. To enhance public awareness and promote proactive measures, NDMA, in collaboration with MyGov, is organising this online Quiz.

Objectives of the Flood Aware Be Prepared Quiz
This initiative aims to:
* Educate citizens about flood-prone areas, prevention strategies, and raise awareness about flood-related issues.
* Promote preparedness and educate participants on the causes and impacts of floods.
* Generate awareness: Educate participants on safety measures during floods.
* Encourage participation: Engage citizens for flood management and resilience.
* Promote knowledge: Foster understanding of government initiatives and community actions related to flood management.

Terms and Conditions of the Flood Aware Be Prepared Quiz
1. The quiz is being organised by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) with the MyGov platform.
2. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
3. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Start Quiz’ button.
4. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
5. Questions contained within the quiz will be based on various aspects of floods, including causes, impacts, and safety measures.
6. Participants can only enter the quiz competition once. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted and considered.
7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
8. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizers’ reasonable control.
9. The decision of the NDMA and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
10. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
