Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to participate in the Filmfare Short Films Awards 2024 Contest, filmmakers must meet the following criteria:

* Affiliation: Not be an employee of WWM, their immediate family members, or an affiliate of WWM.

3. Submit the Short Film:
* Format: MP4 format only.
* Size: Maximum 500 MB.
* Duration: Maximum 20 minutes, excluding titles, credits, and the opening slide (available for download at https://www.filmfare.com/awards/short-films-2024/downloads).
* Release Date: The short film must have been released between 1st January 2023 and 31st December 2023.
* Language: The short film can be made and submitted in any Indian language with English subtitles or can have no dialogues at all.

Judging Criteria
The judging process for the Filmfare Short Films Awards 2024 Contest involves multiple stages:
Stage 1:
* WWM Screening: All entries received by the Submission Deadline will be screened by WWM’s editorial team.
* Shortlist: 30 short films will be shortlisted from all the entries received.
Stage 2:
* Jury Screening: The 30 shortlisted short films will be screened by a jury panel composed of renowned personalities from the film and art world appointed by WWM.
* Finalists: The jury will shortlist 10 short films from the 30 shortlisted entries.
Stage 3:
* Award Winners: The jury will select the winners from the 10 finalists, including:
* Best Film – Fiction: 1 winner.
* Best Film – Non-Fiction: 1 winner.
* Best Actor – Male: 1 winner.
* Best Actor – Female: 1 winner.
Stage 4:
* People’s Choice Award: WWM will shortlist 5 short films based on public voting. The jury will select the ‘Filmfare Short Films Awards 2024’ winner from these 5 shortlisted films.

* The decision of WWM and the judges at all stages of the Contest is final and binding.

Gratification
The winners of each award category will be recognized at a function organized by WWM. The date and details of the function will be communicated to the winners by WWM.
* The award is not convertible to cash, transferable, or assignable.
* Substitution of the award by the winner will not be entertained.
