Under the Prant Pracharak are the Shakha Pracharak (Branch Organizer), who are responsible for the activities of the local branches or shakhas.
The shakhas are the basic unit of the organization and are found throughout India. They hold daily meetings for physical exercise, drills, and discussions on current events and ideology. Participants in the shakhas are known as swayamsevaks.
