About the Contest
The VMRF(DU) Logo and Motto Contest 2024 invites students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff of the University and its constituent institutions to participate in designing a new logo and creating a meaningful motto for the university. The contest aims to capture the essence of VMRF(DU) and its journey over the past 25 years.

Eligibility
* Students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff of VMRF(DU) and its constituent institutions.
* Individual participation only. Team submissions will not be accepted.
* Only one entry per participant per contest. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

Technical Parameters

Logo Design
1. File format: .jpeg, .png, or .pdf
2. Color: Must be in color (not grayscale or black & white)
3. Design platform: Digital design platform only
4. Final design format: EPS/CDR/PSD (for the winner)
5. Size: 4cm x 4cm to 60cm x 60cm
6. Resolution: Minimum 600 DPI
7. File size: Not exceeding 50 MB
8. No compression or self-extracted formats: Submit uncompressed files
9. No imprints or watermarks: Design should be clear and unobscured
10. Adaptability: Design should be suitable for various platforms and mediums (website, social media, printed materials)
11. Description: Submit a brief description (max. 200 words) explaining the theme and concept behind the logo.
12. Resubmissions: The contest organizers may request participants to resubmit their entries in different sizes/formats.
13. Editable file: Participants must keep the original editable file (EPS/CDR/PSD) ready for submission for the winning entry.

Motto Creation
1. Conciseness and meaning: The tagline should be concise and meaningful, reflecting the dignity of the university’s Silver Jubilee celebrations.
2. Language: Simple and clear language without slang, provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
3. Language: The tagline should be written in English.

Submission Process
* Entries must be submitted through the Google Form link/QR code provided on the website.
* Submissions through any other medium will not be accepted.
* Participants can register for both or either of the contests.

Declaration Form:
By submitting an entry, each participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. All entries become the property of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) and are not returnable.
2. VMRF(DU) has the exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, license, and/or otherwise deal with the submitted logo/motto.
3. VMRF(DU) reserves the right to modify the winning logo/motto at its discretion.

Selection Process and Awards
1. All entries received within the stipulated time and guidelines will be evaluated and judged by the concerned authority.
2. VMRF(DU) will shortlist the top 3 entries based on creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, aesthetic qualities, simplicity, artistic merit, and visual impact.
3. Cash prizes and Certificates of Appreciation will be awarded to the top 3 entries in each category:
Logo Contest
* 1st Prize: Rs. 25,000/-
* Consolation Prize I: Rs. 10,000/-
* Consolation Prize II: Rs. 5,000/-
Motto Contest
* 1st Prize: Rs. 25,000/-
* Consolation Prize I: Rs. 10,000/-
* Consolation Prize II: Rs. 5,000/-
4. The decision of VMRF(DU) will be final and binding on all participants. No clarifications will be issued.
5. Winners will be felicitated at the Silver Jubilee celebrations.
6. All eligible participants will receive a participation certificate.
