What is Madhava Mathematics Competition?
The Madhava Mathematics Competition is a national-level mathematics competition for undergraduate students organized by Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune. The competition is funded by the National Board for Higher Mathematics.
The purpose of this competition is to:
* Identify and nurture talented students in mathematics.
* Provide a platform for students to showcase their mathematical abilities.
* Encourage students to pursue higher studies in mathematics.
The selection of students for participation in the International Mathematics Competition (IMC), 2025 will be made on the basis of the performance of the students in the Madhava Mathematics Competition.

Eligibility of Madhava Mathematics Competition
The competition is primarily meant for S. Y. B. Sc. / S. Y. B. Sc. (Computer Science) students with Mathematics as one of the subjects. The question paper will be set with the background of these students in mind. However, interested students of F. Y. B. Sc. and T. Y. B. Sc. (Mathematics) may also appear.

Rules For Madhava Mathematics Competition
* The examination will commence on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 12 noon to 3.00 p.m. in the paper and pen mode (offline) only.
* The competition is worth 100 marks and the pattern of the question paper is as per the question papers in the years prior to 2020 (before the pandemic).
* Students will have to appear for the competition at the examination centre allotted to them by the coordinator.
* Students should report the examination centre half an hour prior to the commencement of the examination.
Important Note: Registration for the competition cannot be cancelled and in no case, the registration fees will be refunded.
