What is the Guwahati Biotech Park Talent Search Contest?
The Talent Search Contest invites participants to submit their innovative ideas and project proposals that have the potential to lead to entrepreneurial ventures in the fisheries, aquaculture, and allied fields.
The Contest Focuses On:
* Ornamental Fishery
* Innovations in Bioflocs/RAS
* Hydroponics/Aquaponics
* Value-Added Products
* Algal Technology
* Pearl/Snail Culture
* AI in Fisheries
* Waste to Wealth Strategies
* Conservation Strategies
* Innovations in Quality Fish Seed Production
* Incorporation of Solar Technologies in Fisheries & Aquaculture
* Testing Kit Development for Disease Diagnosis and Water Testing
* Utilization of Local Resources for Fish Farming
* Integrated Fish Farming and Advanced Polyculture Strategies
* Quality Fish Seed Production of High-Valued Food/Ornamental Fishes
* Innovative Low-Cost Technologies for Fish Tagging, Auto-Feeders, Aeration Systems, Seed Transportation, Hatcheries, etc.
* Formulation & Manufacture of Quality Fish Feed/Fish Meal using Local Ingredients
Eligibility Criteria:
* Students, startups, farmers, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in fisheries and aquaculture sectors are eligible to participate.
* Participants must submit a scanned copy of their photo ID card (PAN/Aadhar).
* If the applicant is associated with an organization related to the submitted project, they must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Supervisor/Head of the Institute/Organization.
* Those not associated with any organization can submit a self-declaration.
* Team Submissions:
* A team can consist of members from different organizations.
* A team cannot submit more than one proposal.
* A member can be part of only one team.
* If a team proposal is selected, the prize will be given as one award.

How to Apply:
* Participants must submit their Project Proposal/innovative ideas in the prescribed format (Annexure I), which can be downloaded from the Contest Website.

* Proposals received after the stipulated time will not be entertained.
