What is the DRDO Dare to Dream 5.0 Innovation Contest?
The Dare to Dream 5.0 Innovation Contest invites applications from Individual Innovators, Startups, and Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) for innovative solutions. Cash awards are given to the winners.
Eligibility Criteria
* Individual Innovators: Must be an Indian citizen above 18 years of age (team participation allowed, maximum 4 members with one designated leader).
* Startups: Recognized by DPIIT and owned by Indian citizens.
* Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs): Registered with the Ministry of MSME and owned by Indian citizens.
How to Register and Apply
Important Instructions:
* Review Carefully: Please thoroughly read the contest details, terms & conditions, and FAQs before applying.
* Application Submission: Applicants (Individual, Startup, or MSE) must submit both a Registration form and an Application form for the chosen challenge area. Use the provided formats.
* File Format: Submit scanned copies of the completed forms and necessary documents as a single .zip file (all documents in PDF format).
* Email Submission: Send the .zip file to: dare2dream[dot]hqr[at]gov[dot]in (Remember to replace “[dot]” with “.” and “[at]” with “@”).
* Multiple Entries: An applicant can submit up to 3 entries in three different challenge areas. Only one entry is allowed per challenge area.
* Open Category Entries: Entries in the “Open Category” must have direct application/utility in the Defence/Aerospace domain.
* Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the contest closing date.
* Final Submission: Once submitted, applications cannot be modified. DRDO’s decision is final.
