Eligibility
* Open to all college students currently enrolled in a recognized institution in India.
* Age Limit: Participants should not be more than 23 years old as on 1st August 2024.
* Ineligibility: Employees of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department are not eligible. However, their family members can participate.

How to Participate
1. Online Registration: Visit https://cagessaycompetition.co.in/ and submit your application between 14th September 2024 (0000 Hours) and 3rd October 2024 (1000 Hours).
2. Choose Your Station: Select your preferred station from the list of participating locations.
3. Confirmation: You will receive an email with the address of your allotted center.
4. Report to the Center: Arrive at your allotted center at least one hour before the competition to facilitate document verification, attendance, and seating arrangements.
5. Onsite Registration: Walk-in registration is allowed on the day of the competition till two hours before the start time, subject to capacity constraints.
Important Notes:
* There are no registration charges.
* Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
* The essay topic will be announced at the competition venue.
* The essay length should not exceed 1,500 words with a 150-word summary capturing the central idea.
* Essays can be written in English or Hindi.
* The CAG of India is not responsible for any copyright violations or intellectual property infringements.

1. Passport-size photograph: In JPG/JPEG format, named “your name-photo.”
2. Student ID: Proving enrolment in a recognized university/institution, named “your name-id.”
3. Proof of Date of Birth: (Birth certificate, Class 10th mark sheet, etc.) named “your name-dob.”
